Strategic approach: Our client – Nemira Publishing House – wanted to give Romanian writers a chance to be seen and discovered by a broader audience (Romanians in urban areas that are not aware of the local book scene, as publishing houses don’t have the financial means to promote local writers).

One thing is for sure: being a publishing house is a tough thing in Romania. It’s hard to promote local writers when you have a “close to zero” promo budget and also face the lowest interest in reading within the European Union (source: Eurostat).

In spite of the lack of budget, we didn’t want to settle for little, starting with the objective:
• Reach 500.000 viewership for Nemira’s Romanian books in the first 2 months after platform launch, in spite of a zero budget

So we asked ourselves: we might not have a budget, but who does?

Brands do.

SO WHAT IF BRANDS COULD ADD BOOKS AS PROPS IN THEIR ADS, THUS OFFERING ROMANIAN WRITERS THE VISIBILITY THEY NEED SO MUCH?

FOR THE 1ST TIME EVER, INTRODUCING BOOKVERTISING - the first platform in the world where brands can use real books as props in their ads and join the cause of promoting authors.
